Children can make a great Dobby Costume by cutting arm holes in a white or tan king size pillow case and wearing one of the Dobby latex masks. To make the pillowcase look old and tattered you can stain it by soaking it in black tea and then wash it, wad it up and cut or tear holes in it. Be sure to carry a sock with you!
This costume is the only one I completely made from scratch, and it took all of maybe 15 minutes. All you really need to be Dobby is a pillow sack outfit and elf ears, both of which you can make at home using a pillow sack, a pair of scissors, pieces of white or tan felt, a plastic headband, markers, cardstock paper and hot glue. And don't forget to bring a sock, which freed Dobby from the Malfoys! Sack outfit
