Ticket giveaway The Post-Standard and the Everson Museum of Art are giving away a family pack of tickets (two adults and four dependents) to Fantasies and Fairy-Tales: Maxfield Parrish and the Art of the Print. An admirer of 19th-century posters, Ludwig was strolling through downtown Ithaca after seeing an exhibition of posters at Cornell's Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art in the early 1960s. He was struck by a poster in the window of an antique shop. For $10, he bought the poster, signed by a Maxfield Parrish. The name meant nothing to Ludwig.

When we opened our case in the National Road Antique Mall in Cambridge City I rummaged around to find stuff to fill the case and came across this old friend.
