Wellness on campus is currently working to put together a wellness radio show.  Michelle Bond, the Graduate Assistant for Wellness, is looking for students interested in designing and building a sandwich board to advertise the show.  The sandwich board will need to be light and weatherproof and will need to clearly provide information about the radio show in an eye catching manner.

Early this fall I was asked to do a poster and signage for the Katherine E. Nash Gallery located in the Regis Center for Art at the University of Minnesota. I was given basic instructions on a general size that the sandwich board poster needed to be and that it should be colorful and use the West Bank Arts Quarter logo. The only problem was that we did not have any high quality graphics of the logo.  I decided that as an artist and designer that I could reproduce the graphic to put on the poster, which I did using charcoal and a painted strip of tape to create as close to an identical images as I could possibly do. Below you will find the hand made graphic I drew as well as the final poster design (note the colors are darker than intended because I had to fudge with them to create the color I wanted to print).
